We're increasingly hopeful that the sky's going to brighten up for a glorious evening – but even if not, we're confident that a diminishing southerly breeze and 9pm low tide will definitely suit a Ray mission tonight! Meeting at Two Tree slipway (SS9 2GB – see http://www.wetndrysup.com/sup-locations/two-tree-island/) from 7pm for a 7.30pm launch, we'll paddle out with the tide to Seal Point before turning by 8.30pm, half an hour before the tide turns, to dig in for the paddle home before dusk. Conditions could be perfect, but still – we're covering 8km so do need to be sure that everyone's a capable paddler. Then to the Elms for beers and pub grub!
