A light easterly breeze and 6.32pm 4.7m high tide tonight mean we've got another cut'n'paste session from a fortnight ago! So it's already our second evening this season at Chalkwell rigging green (www.wetndrysup.com/sup-locations/chalkwell-beach/ – nearest postcode, SS0 8JJ). Again, this time as that easterly might well be reinforced by a sea breeze effect this afternoon and to allow everyone to rock up and launch whenever they can, we're not going to go anywhere, just keep it near the beach for a playaround / technical session... (Air temperatures aren't so high and it could get splashy again, so don't come under-dressed!) Launching at 6.30pm – although unlike most weeks we're staying put so there's no probem if anyone fancies hitting the water early or late. Everyone with their own kit is very welcome (the trailer's still not quite in operation for hire kit this year). And then after, probably back to Old Leigh for beers and fodder...
