Hawklords UK Tour 2017
Emerging from the ashes like the phoenix in 2009, Hawklords are a space-rock band originally from in 1978 on the back of The Sonic Assassins. A memorial concert for late British artist Barney Bubbles in London was enough to show that Hawklords firmly had a place in contemporary music.
On the back of their critically acclaimed 2016 release Fusion (described by the band as an exploration of themes such as “sex, death, art, identity an time”) which charted at 31 in The Official UK Top 40 Album chart, Hawklords return to the UK tour circuit. Hawklords will bring a strong setlist displaying the songwriting ability that pushed Kim McAuliffe of Girlschool to collaborate with the band on their last release.
A space-rock extravaganza makes it way to Sin City and we implore you to come and witness the “out of this world” show Hawklords always promise to deliver. Prepare for your minds to melted, your retinas to be rocked and your taste for rock grandiose to be truly satisfied. Lighting designer Dave “Lighthouse” Johnson has built up quite the reputation for his ability to deliver stunning digital projected lightshows, worthy of lighting up a “full-blown sonic slab of classic British space-rock”.
