This April we celebrate 3 years of epic parties with 5 legends of the game;

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

12th Planet (USA)

Recently named “Los Angeles dubstep god” by Rolling Stone, 12th Planet AKA John Dadzie and his influential label SMOG Records are widely credited for bringing the British movement stateside, and continue to be a crucial force in the evolution of electronic music.

12th Planet burst onto the scene in 2006, releasing tracks that helped ignite the North American EDM explosion and collaborating with the likes of Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Datsik and Plastician. In 2012, 12th Planet’s seminal track “Reasons” (Doctor P Remix) was named by SPIN Magazine as one of the ‘30 Greatest Dubstep Songs of All Time’

Since 2006, 12th Planet has also led what’s become one of the most thriving underground movements in electronic music, with MTV calling the crew a “pioneering incubator of bass music in America." The SMOG crew, with 12th Planet at the helm, continues to produce top quality events in Los Angeles and beyond, always pushing forward as an internationally recognized leader in U.S. bass music. However, John Dadzie's role has extended beyond just bass music to encompass the whole of EDM, including what he recently described to OC Weekly as "transition music," -- a sound that incorporates diverse styles and BPMs. His DJ set is no longer classifiable by genre but best dubbed "a trip to the 12th Planet and back."

Megalodon (USA)

With millions of Soundcloud & YouTube plays, not to mention a string of Beatport Number 1’s, Megalodon is no stranger to the dubstep scene. Since 2008, the Los Angeles based producer has seen ever growing demand, touring both North & South America, Australia and Europe on a regular basis.

Megalodon has collaborated with some of biggest and best names in bass music around today such as Zeds Dead, Jauz, Skism, Habstrakt, 12th Planet, Virtual Riot, Bar9, Antiserum and has gained regular DJ support from major players like Skrillex, Datsik, Excision, Borgore, Tiesto and Flux Pavilion to name a few.

No stranger to the spotlight, his music can often be found featured on some of the biggest music platforms around such as UKF, This Song Is Sick, Rinse FM and the infamous BBC Radio1. Now signed to the world-leading Never Say Die records, few can deny the momentum Megalodon has gained in recent years.

His technical mixing style, alongside his dedication to making forward-thinking tracks with a hint of Dubstep’s roots has helped to define him as a standout act, and definitely one to watch in 2017.

Blankface (USA)

Salar Saeidi, a California native known by his better name of Blankface, has been running through the bass scene with his articulate sound since he began producing beats in late 2009. In 2013, Blankface and MAZE, Arthur Darbinyan, founded their label, Savage Society, an artist collective of young, divergent producers that are making heads turn within the bass community with their eminently dynamic sound.

Currently residing in Orange County, California, Blankface has been up to no good, plotting his most vicious attack on the bass scene, producing some of the most savage dubstep bass culture has ever heard. The 24-year-old gathers inspiration from artists, such as Jakes, Subfiltronik, Benga and utilizes his own skills and creative mind as his weapon of choice to muster an influential onslaught of tracks that riddle and inject shock stricken bodies with sub-bass. With support from 12th Planet, Jakes, Shiverz, & many more, everyone will undoubtedly want to keep an eye, or an ear, out for this young and talented innovative producer.
