The Mighty RuMJiG are a fearlessly funky outfit playing stages around the UK to combat bitterness, blues and boredom.

This bands soul intention is to uplift and ignite peoples lust for life.

Rumjig blends genres including folk, dub, drum and bass, swing, jazz, skanking reggae, blues, Latino and many more.

With good conscience, rhythmically exciting and melodically entangled with riding bass rooting it all together – RuMJiG have caused a stir wherever they go.

Firm and chunky festival favourites - Rumjig guarantee to entice crowds into a pumped up rambunctiouse frenzy!!

From humble beginnings started by two friends as a way to kill time, to a revolving door for musicians, DJ’s and Mc’s boasting multiple line up shows in venues such as Hootananny’s, Brixton Jamm (London) Talking heads, The Joiners Arms (Southampton) The Attic Bar and Mr Wolfs (Bristol) along the journey. Born Ina Barns dj's turntable skills and track choice provoke moments of jaw-dripping juggling to mob-inducing anthem-dropping mayhem earning them support slots for The Dub Pistols, Fun Loving Criminals, Afrika Bambatta, DJ Format, Reeps One, A-Skillz, Solo Banton and David Rodigan Among others. Festivals love the collective with repeat performances at Bestival Camp Bestival and Boomtown visits to The Isle of Wight Festival, Beach Break and recently Nass, Symmetry, Nozstock, and Boom Bap Festival.
