Pearse McGloughlin is an alternative folk artist from Sligo, Ireland. He has released three albums to critical acclaim: Busy Whisper (2009), In Movement (2012) and Idiot Songs (2013) in collaboration with composer Justin Grounds. Pearse's work often deals in literary and philosophical themes; Idiot songs drew largely from Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Idiot while In Movement references works by John Keats and Carson McCullers. His work has been described as captivating, elegant and nuanced and has featured in The Irish Times, BBC Northern Ireland and at the Other Voices Festival.
'another album for the wee small hours ... that carries McGloughlin confidently and astutely on an upward trajectory'....... Jim Carroll, The Irish Times

Elder Roche, the Dublin/Berlin-based performer releases his 2nd album in October 2014, and embarks on a national tour.
In the three and a half years since his first album release, Elder has been invited to perform and tour with many of Ireland’s greatest musicians including Kila’s Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Mary Coughlan, Paddy Casey, Mundy and Damian Dempsey, and has also mesmerised audiences at intimate solo gigs around the country.
Nobody Knows (2009), his first album, received audience and critical acclaim. What the press said:
"Lazy comparisons with Tom Waits do him nothing more than a disservice. Elder Roche’s voice and wit hint at a creative spirit all his own" - The Irish Times
“Manly vocals and powerful storytelling songs bring to mind the genius of Leonard Cohen” - News of the World
“There is something very spiritual about Elder Roche’s songs” - Dan Hegarty, RTÉ 2FM
“Truly talented and truly stunning” - Phantom FM
Elder Roche grew up in Dublin, has travelled extensively and is currently based between Dublin and Berlin. His theatrical narratives and folk/roots sound are underscored by his projection of a rawness of experience through his ethereal piano playing and a powerful, haunting vocal ability.
