Party: Mar (THU) Magnum Club presents R-Wan

Awardwinning and golden record holder Marouane Chamile, better known as R-Wan, has become an iconic figure throughout the years. During his childhood in France, he grew up with R&B and Funk music. Inspired by different styles, he bought his first turning tables at the age of 14 to practice. R-Wan started producing mixtapes for his friends at school and had his first live performance when he was in college.

When he was 20 years old, he started to get more gigs at bigger clubs in Paris, released more mixtapes and developed his other big talent as a VJ. This all led to a successful start of his career with international sponsors like Reebok and American clothing line FUBU and gigs in the USA, Asia and Europe.

After making music for other artists, he realized that it was time to take the next step and produce tracks for his own. He teamed up with international artists like Elephant Man and songwriting duo Rock City, who made tracks for Beyonce, Iggy Azaela and Drake, for his own first album ‘My Club’. The album got a golden record and R-wan won multiple awards such as The International Award of Excellent at the Barbados Music Awards.

After his first own single release and music video ‘Clear’, R-Wan is currently working on his second album.

Dj R-Wan has one goal; ‘All these opportunities gave me the chance to help people dance and enjoy good, creative music throughout the whole world.
