Party: FrontLine Honors Ceremony
Main page > Faribault American Legion, Post #43 > FrontLine Honors Ceremony
SPECIAL NOTE: Typically, this event would be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, however, since many people will be with their families for Easter weekend during the month of April, this event will take place on the 2nd Sunday.
For the month of May, moving forward, every 3rd Sunday of the month, we recognize the fallen from the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and all U.S. service members who were killed in aciton over the course of the previous 30 days. With members of the Post 43 Honor Guard / Color Guard present, we will read the names of the KIA, followed a flag-raising / salute, and prayer vigil.
Men and women of the U.S. armed forces, along with our coalition allies, continue to face a very determined enemy on a daily basis and there is no end in sight to this prolonged war. Taking just a few minutes of time out of our month to recognize their sacrifice, along with the sacrifices of their families on the home front, is the absolute least that we can do.
This event occurs monthly on the 3rd Sunday at 1:00 pm, free of charge, and open to the public.
Their Sacrifice. Our Honor.
