Friday May 26 we welcome back TAYA, one of Byron Bay's best Djs and producer on his Perception EP Tour. Having been overseas the last 6 months working on his craft and writting musical gems. It's his first show back in Australia so its going to be a big one. Taya has been at Club Raiders from the very start 3 years ago and to watch him grow into the artist he is now has been an amazing journey. We cant wait to see what he brings to Club Raiders on Friday May 26!

With Beatport charting tracks behind him, Taya's production moves into a completely new direction of deep and darkened tech-house, furthering the progressive journey of the Taya project. One of the newest members of the diverse Bassic Records family, his fated EP “Perception” will showcase his new sound wholly, flourished with remixes by Israel’s Matan Caspi and Melbourne’s Thankyou City....
Birthed in the doof scene in the surrounding hills of Byron Bay, Taya was brought up into a life rich with musical influence, experimenting with live music from the tender age of 9, approaching DJing at 13 and immersing himself into the world of production at 15. Playing a big part in the north coast psy-trance scene as a teenager, Taya made the move to house at his coming of age. Soon after this he moved to Berlin for a year to explore the smooth 4x4 sound. This was the city that truly exposed his musical calling.
Since then Taya haD become easily the busiest DJ in Byron Bay, comfortably holding residencies at La La Land and The Northern. It’s an understatement to say his list of acts supported is hefty; Dusky, Jay Lumen, Catz n Dogz, DJ T, Kolombo, Doorly, Kry Wolf, Chris Lorenzo, Cause and Effect, Flight Facilities and Rufus are just a few.
Taya’s passionate approach to the scene has established him as a worthy part of the coasts most respected brandings including Elsewhere GC, Nautic Giants, Essential Intentions, Club Raiders, Sunday Safari and Immerse. A regular at festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bizarre Garden, the diversity in his sound breaks down barriers between genre devotees, never failing to have all body on the dance-floor moving not matter the setting.
