짧은 몇년간 몬트리올 출신의 이 신비스런 젊은 프로듀서는 현재 음악이라는 풍경에 있어 지난 10년 동안 음악이 무엇을 의미할 수 있는지에 대해 계속해서 깊은 생각을 던져 주었다.
Jacques Greene은 하우스 음악, 세심하게 완성된 RnB, 그를 둘러싼 모든것에 영향을 주는 깊은 창조적인 줄기인 투스텝과 개러지를 잘 조합하고 있다.
최면에 걸리듯 늦은밤을 차분하게 만드는 트랙 "(Baby I Don't Know) What You Want"은 대표곡으로 그에게 처음으로 명성을 얻게해주었고, 그후 그는 "Another Girl"이 있는 LuckyMe와 Nightslugs에서 발표한 두장의 EP로 문을 깨부수고 모든 인기를 한몸에 받기 시작했다.
Thom Yorke가 인정한 Greene은 언제나 하이 퀄러티를 추구하는 것으로 잘 알려져있다.
그는 최근 발표한 완전 멋진 "Phantom Vibrate EP"를 비롯해 Radiohead에서 Katy B, Ciara에 이르는 다수 아티스트들과의 무수한 작업을 포함하는 많은 오리지날 앨범들을 발표했고, 이제막 XX와 팀을 이뤄 투어에 올랐다.

In just a few short years, this enigmatic young producer from Montreal has given the current musical landscape progressively deeper ideas of what music can mean in the new decade.
Jacques Greene combines house music, a meticulous implementation of RnB, 2 step and garage, with a deep creative streak affecting everything around him.
Initially gaining noteriety with the huge anthem “(Baby I Don’t Know) What You Want”, a hypnotizing late night come down track, he tore down the gate with two EPs on LuckyMe and Nightslugs,
With “Another Girl”, all the hype came to him.
Championed by Thom Yorke, Greene is well known for consistant high quality.
He has a slew of original releases, including the very dope, recent "Phantom Vibrate EP", massive remixes with artists from Radiohead, to Katy B, to Ciara and more, and has just come off a tour teaming up with the XX.
