Maxxi Soundsystem is a name that crops up quite habitually here at Audio and for good reason to, with the man himself being a previous club resident and Brighton homeboy.
His triumph rejig of Alexander O’Neal’s ‘Criticise’ put the Maxxi name firmly on the map, by skilfully pummelling disco gold into house tendencies. Sam Watts has gone on to earn a status as one of the most respected DJ and producers in the scene.
With strong ties to Defected, Hypercolour & Ellum, the certified classic title of Regrets We Have No Use For and recent rework of The Mekanism’s Can’t Believe making insistent waves, we’re pleased to invite the talent back to the club for an extended session!
