Hull University Union’s White Ribbon Awareness Event is an evening of live performances, guest speakers, fundraising and more in the John McCarthy Bar
In 2014, Hull proudly became an official White Ribbon City and you now you have the chance to be a part of this commitment. Come along to share your support for the national White Ribbon campaign that works with men to end violence against women.
Special guests include representatives from Hull FC and Preston Road Women’s Centre. Take part in our charity raffle, feast on a free buffet and enjoy an exclusive performance from Athletic Unions’ Dance society.
White Ribbon Awareness aims to encourage men who may or may not be/have been perpetrators or victims of domestic violence to take a stance and put a stop to domestic violence. You will have the chance to make a pledge on our White Ribbon Wall, meet local ambassadors and walk away with your very own white ribbon pin.
Be part of this worldwide movement and stand up for domestic violence. #whiteribbon
