Irish singer Andrew Strong is bringing ”The Commitments” Tour down under for the second time in less than a year and the SS&A are proud to be one of the chosen venues.

Strong and his eight piece band will return off the back of sold-out shows in Ireland and the UK.

The Commitments Tour is based on the 1992 Alan Parker cult classic film, The Commitments, following the trials and tribulations of a bunch of working-class Dubliners trying to make it big as a soul band. The film won a bunch of BAFTA and Brit Awards, and being something of a musical, was also nominated for Grammy and Academy Awards. Most importantly though, the songs from the film became worldwide hits, gaining incredible success on Australian charts in particular.

The 8-piece band will play hits like ‘Mustang Sally’, ‘Try A Little Tenderness’ and ‘In The Midnight Hour’ for Australian fans all over the country. So don’t you slow your mustang down! Get your soul spirit on and get involved!
