New Car Caviar: A Jamgrass Tribute to Pink Floyd

New Car Caviar began in September 2013 as a duo in Austin, TX, with Michael and Amy Boyd (owners of Sense & Color School of Music) on guitar and vocals. From there, the project swiftly gained momentum with the addition of fellow music teachers Randal Robledo and Josh Terry on mandolin and violin, followed by Matt Meldrum on the upright bass, and local jamband drummer Enzo Loechel (of the bands Toast and Jamiroqueen).

In summer of 2014, Michael and Amy Boyd moved from Texas to N. Carolina, where a second East Coast lineup was formed, including George Beardsworth on bass and mandolin, Kelly Colyer on rhythm guitar, Andrew Stocker on banjo, and Jesse Williams on drums.

Both lineups of New Car Caviar are still going strong, and fans can hear our fresh take on Pink Floyd live in Texas, and the East Coast, and all the states in-between!
