Party: Newcastle Community Council - Table Quiz

We are holding a Table Quiz fundraiser to kick-start our plans to redevelop the community’s pitch & sports field.


We currently have a planning application before the Galway County Council. For the redevelopment of the existing community pitch and car park, permission for a ball wall, footpath and 1.2m high fence to enclose the pitch, children’s play area, new boundary fencing, redevelop existing pitch drainage works and new boundary fencing.


Our many local sporting codes are in constant need of pitch space. We hope that this redevelopment will help accommodate these needs. We are looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead in getting the project underway.


Our new grounds will be of benefit to the community at large, offering a focal point for sports and recreations in the half parish of Athenry.


We will circulate information of our plans on the night.


We are looking forward to a good night out on Friday the 8th, a bit of crack & some food. A great chance for locals & neighbour’s to meet up. Sometimes you cant beat an excuse for a night out!
