Jokes Please! is a weekly stand-comedy show, this week’s LOOSE theme is: Raptors (basketball and regular type).
When the Toronto Raptors were being named, this is real, the ten prospects they decided between were: Beavers, Bobcats, Dragons, Grizzlies, Hogs, Raptors, Scorpions, T-Rex, Tarantulas, and Terriers.
HOGS? Tarantulas? Crazy. Alas, they also didn’t use my Jurassic Park themed name: the Toronto Alan Grants. I would've settled for the Toronto Malcolm's Laugh (Hahahrawrrahaha from the crowd would DEMORALIZE teams when they miss free throws).
In the NBA there are too many scantily clad cheerleaders and not enough costumed mascots. How about cheerleaders IN mascot costumes. Thirteen raptors dancing in sync? Tossing each other up, doing handsprings? It’s my eight-year-old self’s dream! (I once dreamed that dinosaurs went extinct from dancing too hard.)

Some of you might be like, I DON'T CARE ABOUT BASKETBALL, where is the SLAMBALL themed show??!! An all sprained ankle show will be done just for you soon enough. Also, trampolines could be added to all sports to make them better/dumber. Think about it.
