Occupy The Disco (OXD) is the New York-based DJ collective of Tad Haes, DJ RuBot, and Josh Appelbaum. What started out as a casual experiment by three friends to introduce undergound electronic music back onto the gay dance floor soon turned into curation and experimentation behind the decks. Their shared love of nightlife’s past and present permeates their sound, unabashedly queer and always eclectic.

They're playing all night long at Good Room on December 29. They will be joined by SIREN in the Bad Room. SIREN is the moniker of Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area) and Dennis Kane (Disques Sinthomme and Ghost Town). The long-time friends, who have been throwing parties together for years, began recording together in 2013 and haven't looked back. They champion a melodic and eclectic-but-unified style of playing which has earned them a following in their explorations of what makes a night of mixed music dynamic, fluid and ultimately transformative.
