Pete Rock
Born in the birthplace of hip hop, the Boogie Down Bronx, music has always been a constant for Pete Rock, whose DJing, producing, and recording career spans over two decades and a legion of legendary collaborators, including Public Enemy, Mary J. Blige, TLC, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, and the Notorious B.I.G. When a Pete Rock production comes on, blending rap, jazz, and classic soul, it doesn’t matter if you’re a musical heavyweight or an everyday fan across the globe: you will be changed.

Slum Village
Chances are, if you are anywhere near the Detroit music scene, you have heard of the influential hip hop trio that makes up Slum Village. The group was founded in the early 90s by three childhood friends: Baatin, T3, rapper and producer J Dilla, who all grew up together in the Conant Gardens neighborhood of Detroit, Michigan. Forging a path into the underground hip hop scene, Slum Village quickly found themselves gaining popularity, and even today, throughout hardships and lineup changes, the band has consistently reinvented themselves with reinvigorated passion for what they do.

Spac3man
When he began working with Sportn’ Life Records, Seattle rapper Spac3man was known for hyping his label mates on stage and delivering a hot sixteen bars on their records. Soon, all of that changed as Spac3man became the label's breakout artist, plunging into the hip-hop scene with a hefty 40 shows in 12 months. Local media, fans and his colleagues were all quick to call him the next "big thing". From playing some of the region's biggest music festivals, like Bumbershoot, The Capitol Hill Block Party, and Reverbfest, to sharing the stage with the likes of Redman & Method Man, Spac3man is garnering praise left and right for his club anthems & aggressive musical attacks.

Plus Local Guests:

A-Ro of Elekwent Folk
Elekwent Folk have gathered up the mist over the Salish Sea, the snow sparkling on the peaks of the North Shore mountains, the climactic sunsets at Wreck Beach, the sizzle of Vancity barbeques, the mushrooms swelling beneath old growth cedars, and condensed it all into a free-spirited explosion of North West Coast hip-hop.
