The Black Veils
Formed in 2014 out of the collaboration between Gregor Samsa (vocals), Filippo Scalzo (bass) and Mario "Dada" D'Anelli (guitar, synth and drum machine), The Black Veils are a post-punk and shoegaze trio based in Bologna, Italy. They draw on a dark and surreal imaginary, combining enigmatic lyrics with melodic evocative atmospheres. Through echoes and reverberations of the guitar, obsessive and "danceable" bass lines and ethereal sharp vocals, the sound of The Black Veils becomes a never-static and passionate research.That same year, The Black Veils meet Gianluca Lo Presti (Nevica su 4.0) - owner of the "DiscoDada" label and long-time collaborator of Tying Tiffany, Blaine L. Reininger of Tuxedomoon, Delendanoia, Cosmetic and Vanity - who records and mixes their first self-produced album"Blossom", which it's released in October 2015. Giuseppe Lo Bue of Caron Dimonio is alsoinvolved in the recording sessions of "Blossom", playing guitars on the tracks "King of Worms" and"Out of the Well (For David Michael Bunting)". "The Fall" is released as their first official video in January 2016. In January 2016 the band also releases a brand new song for Darkitalia's compilation "Sparkles inthe Dark, Vol. 2" called "(Let's Set The) Cities on Fire", recorded, mixed and mastered by Giuseppe Taibi of post-punk band Two Moons. All year long, The Black Veils keep on touring all over Italy. The Black Veils' second album, "Dealing with Demons", released in January 2017 through "Atmosphere Records".

Vestfalia's Peace
Vestfalia’s Peace is an Italian darkwave band, formed in 1997, inspired by artists such as And Also The Trees, Chameleons and Sad Lovers and Giants.
Originally from Pescolanciano, in the tiny Molise region, the band recorded some demos in the late 90s / early 2000 with influences ranging from cold wave to gothic rock.
In 2017 they release their very first official debut full lenght album “Loneliness” for Swiss Dark Nights.
Formed in 1997, they started playing music with original songs and cover from The Cure, Bauhaus, Joy Division and Christian Death. After recording the first demo tape in Pescolanciano in the summer of 1999, the group moved to Florence to record their first demo “Sleeping After Dawn” in October.
In September 2000 they came back to Florence to record a second demo, “Fun in a Word” influenced by The Cure and Christian Death. These demos were sent to some italian goth magazines but were never officially released.
Vestfalia’s Peace keep recording demos during the years, refining their sound with classical 4AD melancholy influences, but also with And Also The Trees, Sad Lovers and Giants and Classix
Nouveaux style.
In 2005 they change their souce of inspiration with neofolk and produced a new demo sung in italian and with neo-classical attitude.
The band splits in the late 2005 because of their personal life and work: they live since 2000 in four different italian cities and they rarely met for recording another album.
In 2014 Vestfalia’s Peace members come back together and working on the distance, dedicate themselves to the production of a new full lenght album, with their old cold wave and new wave
influences. The album has been released by Swiss indipendent label “Swiss Dark Night” in March 2017.
