Open self-defence class for ages 13 & up, male & female.
Location - Charelswood Karate dojo, 5924 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg
Open to anyone 13 & older. No charge for Charleswood Karate students, $5 for non-students. Contact [email protected] to reserve a spot or sign up in dojo.
Class will focus on requirements for self-defence including avoidance, confidence, application and awareness. Drills will include striking techniques, strength training, distance awareness, reaction and practice in avoiding and getting out of grabs & holds.
Wear close fitting exercise clothes - practice will be on mats in the dojo so training is with bare feet.
There will be a ongoing self-defence classes continuing past drills and adding new ones. Classes will be tentatively every 2-4 weeks.
