Youssra El Hawary is an Egyptian accordionist, composer, songwriter, and singer who has been composing her own songs since 2011: a satirical mix of storytelling with social and political commentary. Youssra and her band have been working diligently on producing a new album and it's finally out! 'No'oum Nasyeen' is the culmination of 5 years of hard work (and a fair share of fun) by the band. Its music falls nicely into El Hawary’s style of alternative Egyptian folk with Mediterranean influences. We’re ecstatic to hear the final result LIVE right here at CJC!
Shahira Welnas Elkhatira is an indie project that contains a diverse collection of original Arabic songs encompassing different genres yet creating a unique collective sound that represents a strong identity.
