Sub Rosa's weekly Wednesday night parties are coming to an end! Here's what we've got in store for you filthy animals...

6th – Intergalactic Funk Smugglers

The mothership has landed once again. Their stripped out spacey escapades have seen them far and wide across the cosmos, through interstellar unknown’s and in and out of every star path to intertwine amongst the funkiest of beings… But they’re back, space suits and all, with a big bag of funk for a final jaunt through the galactic bowels of the deep dark Sub Club universe to provide you with the what you really need to let loose.

13th – Anthony Naples

From a good deal on a $100 mac to a release on Mister Saturday Night, then onto an album release on Four Tet’s ‘Text’ label, to playing festivals and clubs the world over. Things move fast for Anthony Naples, but he’s never phased and his composure behind the decks is testament to that. This will be his first reappearance at the Sub Club in just over a year, and the chances of you getting to see him on a Wednesday night ever again are slim to none so LETS DANCE.

20th – Loose Joints

Loose Joints is a new night in Glasgow, who's name can be interpreted however you want. Their resident DJs know a thing or two about banger, and their opening night saw them book living legend Legowelt, plus our guest last month The Burrell Connection. We are more than excited to be giving them a subby debut before we sign off!

27th – Silicone Soul

This is it… Sub Rosa every Wednesday at Sub Club has come to an end, and in true Sub Rosa fashion we’re going out with as big a bang as possible. Who better to close the curtains than 2 of Glasgow’s finest exports this beautiful city has ever seen, Craig Morrisson and Graeme Reedie AKA Silicone Soul! Sub Club has a soft place in its heart for DJ duo’s, from Harri & Dom to Optimo to Beta & Kappa and Spittal & Nowicki, two is always better than one and Silicone Soul are living proof of that. With four albums released on Soma since 1998, residencies all over the world (DC 10, La Terrrazza, The Arches) and an untouchable footprint on dancefloors across the globe make them the perfect way to end what has been an incredible 5 years in the world best basement.

There may be cake, there’ll probably be tears, and it’ll definitely be the send off Sub Rosa deserves!
