Jon1st verbindet mit seinen enormen Turntable-Skills fließend das Beste aus Wonky HipHop, treibendem Footwork, oldskool Jungle und rollendem Drum & Bass! Neben zahlreichen Gastsets für etablierte Szenegrößen wie Ninja Tune, NTS und Rinse FM produziert er als ein Teil des Producer-Kollektivs "GOALS" basslastige Future Beats.
Hinter den Decks verbindet der junge Engländer die technischen Fähigkeiten eines altgedienten Vinyl-DJs mit der Schnelligkeit und dem Ideenreichtum der neuen, digitalen Welt von Serato, Launchpads, Effekteinheiten & Co. Diese energiegeladene Mischung brachte ihm 2013 den Titel "DMC Online World Champion" ein und den Respekt zahlreicher Top-Produzenten und DJs wie z.B. Ivy Lab, Om Unit, DJ Vadim, DJ Craze, Jazzy Jeff und Scratch-Legende QBert.
Sein legendäres Set für die Rendezvous in Stuttgart ist vielen bis heute ein unvergessliches Ereignis! In diesem Sinne schnallt eure Trainers an, damit ihr bereit seid für 'Sweat Shop pres. Jon1st' am 28. Januar, im Cabaret Eden!

Through his upfront track selection and unrivalled technical ability, Jon1st has quickly built a reputation as a ‘DJ’s DJ’. His club sets see him effortlessly blend together influences from across the alternative electronic music spectrum, all the while incorporating breath taking technical skills developed through his background as a World-DMC-title-winning turntablist.
In addition to a monthly residency at Fly High Society, Jon’s mixes have been featured on established platforms such as Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel, Rinse FM, NTS, DJ Mag, Radar Radio and more. His sets have also recently caught the attention of drum and bass/half time beats supergroup Ivy Lab, who have swiftly made him a resident at their 20/20 club night in London.
He has also embraced the world of production, with a recent collaborative release with Tehbis on Medallion Sounds and DJ support from household names like Om Unit, Gilles Peterson, Ivy Lab, Fracture, Tim Parker, Reso, BBC 6 Music and many more. In addition to his solo efforts, Jon is also one third of production trio, GOALS, alongside EAN and Will LV.
