Party: Third Thursdays - Hard Rock Rising Global Battle of The Bands Heat 3: Blackout Party, Gunner Gunner, & DNT

For the fifth straight year, Hard Rock continues its commitment to aspiring musicians by holding a worldwide search for talented bands to showcase on its international stage. Hard Rock Rising, the world’s most far-reaching battle of the bands competition gives local groups a shot at stardom with an all-expenses paid trip to Barcelona, Spain to compete for the chance to perform at the first-ever Hard Rock Rising Barcelona music festival this summer!

On Thursday, April 16 Hard Rock Hotel San Diego welcomes local semi-finalists Blackout Party, Gunner Gunner, & DNT to compete inside 207 for their chance to advance to the local finals set to take place on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Come cheer on your favorite local musicians as they battle it out for the opportunity of a life time!

Blackout Party
Blackout Party started small, playing Monday nights at a local bar, then things got crazy. All of a sudden, we were packing the place out on Saturday nights, the lights were swinging, and people knew the words to our songs! Sweaty guitar solos were played on top of bars and tables, and we were being given “San Diego Music Awards”. In 2014 BOP flew to Nashville and cut 11 new songs at Zac Brown's Southern Ground Studios, set for release in Fall 2014.
